Job Purpose
Responsible for managing Quality Management Systems, product & process quality, customer quality, and supplier quality for Dana TM4 electric drive system operations. Ensures compliance to global standards and supports continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure end‑to‑end QMS compliance as per IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Support quality systems for e‑motors, inverters, gearboxes, stator/rotor assemblies, machining & e‑drive assembly.
- Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and core tool deployment for NPD & engineering changes.
- Drive internal/process audits, VDA 6.3, customer audits & certification audits; ensure timely CAPA closure.
- Manage customer quality performance, handle complaints using 8D/RCA, and drive PPM reduction.
- Ensure supplier quality through incoming inspection, supplier audits, PPAP validation & escalations.
- Support MAFACT, TQM, 5S, Kaizen, Poka‑Yoke and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure robust control plans, PFMEA, process controls for winding, balancing, machining, assembly & testing operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, ME, Production, Supplier Development & Program teams to meet launch and customer quality requirements.
- Track and report Quality KPIs (PPM, COPQ, FTR, defects, complaints) and support data-driven reviews (MRM/QBR).

Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of IATF 16949 & ISO standards.
- Expertise in Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).
- Knowledge of stator winding, rotor balancing, machining, assembly & testing processes.
- Proficiency in problem‑solving tools – 8D, RCA (5 Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree).
- Understanding of MAFACT, TQM, Poka‑Yoke, Kaizen, 5S.
- Ability to manage customer quality, supplier quality, and internal audits.
