Job Purpose
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Measure production parts for all shifts on a daily basis for key critical dimensional characteristics
• Record data entry analysis; Review and update charts and graphs; Maintain organized records
• Report any SPC problems
• Able and willing to work overtime, before and after shift, possible weekends
• Must be flexible regarding work assignments; able to change and move scheduled priorities as requested
• Proficient typing and computer skills
• Must have knowledge of SPC and willing to attend training
• Must have sufficient math, reading and writing ability to complete required work skills
• Must have ability to work in team environment and cooperate with multiple disciplines and diverse personnel
• Willing to travel to both customer and supplier locations as needed
• Must be willing to pursue continuing education
• Willing and able to communicate via verbal, written and presentations with internal employees, suppliers and customers
• Must be able to work on their own initiative
• Must be willing to train on use of Stephens Computer Software Program
• Must be willing to train on the proper use, maintenance and handling of all gages, fixtures and tools used in SPC Data Collection
