Job Responsibilities
- Build material planning based on the sales order & sales forecast
- Make out a suitable production planning according to customer order and inventory on hand.
- Issue the purchase order in ERP system and release to suppliers and chase the delivery performance.
- Build healthy inventory and control DOH;
- Ensure Shortage Analysis is performed by Material Planner on routine timely manner. Review reasons of shortages for better corrective action.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of MRP system.
- Work closely with customer service group and Production Dept. to ensure 100% on time delivery.
- Compliance with company ethics policy and other regulations and related EHS, quality policy.
- Other tasks assigned by direct manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, production, engineering or related fields.
- 5 years working experience in a multinational manufacturing company and minimum 3 years related to material planning.
- Good Knowledge and experience of MRP system, lean manufacturing is a plus
- Familiar in usage of SAP software applications.
- Being aggressive and mature and able to work under high pressure.
- Good communication in both English and Chinese
- Good knowledge in logistics management, import & export/customs knowledge
- Good computer ability
- Strong ability of solving problem and multi-tasked abilities.
