Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain and improve safety culture and performance
2. Development department goals, priorities and actions plan, measure and report the result.
3. New products launching, VSM, Flow Chart, PFMEA and WI standardization, first time right to make sure flawless launching.
4. Support production to meet daily production output target and scrap target.
5. Identify and implement manufacturing cost reduction and quality improvement activities.
6. Optimize layout. 
7. Provide manufacturing capacity study and investment proposal.
8. Develop new equipment and manufacturing processes for new products.
9. Ensuring department activities meet company Safety, ISO45001, ISO14001 and IATF16949 standards.
10. Developing Manufacturing Engineering team for growth.
11. Maintain information security management system process, regular report the performance to top management, including improvement needs, supervise and coordinate internal audit team, evaluate information security incidents, assess information security events and system weakness reports, and take preventive measures.
12. Other tasks assigned by Plant Manager.

Education and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Automation or related.
2. At least 5 years’ management experience in auto-parts industry or related manufacturing environment.
3. Broad knowledge of machine design principles, error-proofing and ergonomics.
4. Be familiar with design software like CAD and Pro/E
5. With Project Management knowledge and skills.
6. Working knowledge and Experience in IATF16949. Be familiar with APQP, FMEA, PPAP
7. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Self-motivated and cooperative.  Strong interpersonal skill
9. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
