Technical Customer Operations Representative

Job Purpose
- Provide technical and commercial assistance and application specific information to our customers and internal customer service personnel in order to promote Dana product. :
- Answer customer and internal customer service product technical inquiries using engineering/production data.
- Assist in determining how product is to be serviced with assistance from technical service or engineering depts
- Provide internal departments with corrections to current publications where identified
• Assist customers/Crossville in part dimensional information from prints
• Provide support on quotes for service units, (transmissions, axles, electronic controllers
• Prepare recommended inventory lists for new products/customer applications
• Provide support/participate in product launch/ product phase out/complexity reduction teams
• Propose service parts overhaul kits for specific components/units
• Help promote the sale of these products to our customers
• Provide application specific information
• Provide solutions/solve problems
• Help promote the sale of Dana product
• Create solid customer relations and provide excellent customer satisfaction
• Be a problem solver and information source for the customer, with solutions and data - Performs all other duties as assigned
Job Duties and Responsibilities
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree in Engineering or related area experience
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Experience and product knowledge of Dana parts
- Technical aptitude/interest
- Customer focused
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written Technical
- Self-starter, able to accept responsibility and prioritize work load
- Computer knowledge required
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to read engineering prints
