Position Summary

We’re looking for a Test Engineer in Rovereto (TN) location.

 

The Testing Engineer will be part of the V&V Engineering team at Dana Rovereto Technology Center (DRTC), will play a crucial role in supporting development teams with the verification and validation of developed systems. The candidate's responsibilities will encompass planning, designing, implementing, and executing experimental campaigns. These campaigns may be conducted in laboratories, on test benches, or even on prototype vehicles. Depending on the projects and ongoing activities, the tasks of the Test Engineer may include:

- Integration of sensors and data acquisition architectures

- Laboratory activities for testing and validation of mechatronic systems

- Experimental data post-processing and analysis

- Preparation, organization and presentation of project documentation (design documents, technical reports, costs analysis)

- Management and utilization of Labs working areas and experimental equipment

- Project resources estimation, planning, management and monitoring

Main Responsibilities

• Management, maintenance, and improvement of Labs and equipment

• Guarantee effective workflow and equipments for DRTC V&V

• Gathering and maintenance of labs technical documentation gathering

• Preparation, organization and presentation of projects documentation (design documents, technical reports, costs analysis)

• Continuous enhancement of Environment, Health & Safety culture

Job Position Requirements

Education: University master degree - Mechanical/Mechatronic/Automation Engineering

 

Professional background 

1-3 years experience in industry/academia on mechatronics projects. Preferably including experimental/laboratory activities.

 

Hard skills 

Essential:          

• Very good Engineering basics

• Scientific approach to technical problems

• Familiarity with laboratory environment and equipment (prototyping and testing)

• Design and execution of experiments

• Fluent English

• Windows OS and MS Office 365 suite

Considered as a plus:    

• 3D CAD for mechanical design

• Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing technologies

• Matlab/Simulink

• Ability to work in team
