Position Summary
We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Rovereto (TN).
The candidate will be a key member of the Quality Team, responsible for managing the Supplier Not Conformities impacting Rovereto Plant and managing sampling activities and approvals.

Main Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage the PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) for new programs, engineering changes and process improvements received by suppliers.
- Review and Approve of Supplier PPAP submission.
- Support APQP Process.
- Monitor Supplier Quality Not Conformances in Dana1Source for compliance and current requirements as needed for the business unit, identifying, and escalating high impact issues
- Travel to suppliers as necessary. Generate and distribute visitation reports.
- Monitoring and tracking prevention and resolution of Supplier concerns
- Ability to work in a team environment and foster continuous improvement in all aspects of the plant operations.
- Prepare periodic reports and other data to presentations to managers and/or plant personnel.
- Trace and review status of engineering deviations and change reports
Job Position Requirements
Education: University bachelor degree - Preferred Engineering
Professional background
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Quality Engineering preferred.
Experience in Quality department (preferable in Automotive Sector), preferable 3/4 years.
Basic experiences on Automotive core tools (such as PPAP, FMEA, APQP, GD&T, Gage R&R, Calibration, SPC) and international standards such as ISO 14001.
Hard skills
Essential:
Comprehension of technical drawings.
Ability to speak and write in English Computer proficiency in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
Soft skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana, internal Customers and external suppliers.
Self-directed and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and accepts responsibility.
