Position Summary
We’re looking for a Logistic Engineer in Rovereto (TN).
Main opportunities and challenges:
Opportunity to gain familiarity with medium-to-high complexity planning processes, including MRP and customer-specific logistics flows.
Development and refinement of customer communication skills, with a focus on managing strategic accounts and back-office coordination.
Exposure to cross-functional collaboration, working closely with planning, sales, and third-party logistics providers (3PL).
Hands-on experience with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) models, including operational and strategic aspects.
Opportunity to work with advanced reporting and forecasting tools, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
Skill development in predictive analytics and demand forecasting, using customer MRP data.
Involvement in S&OP processes for top-tier customers, gaining insight into strategic supply chain planning.

Main Responsibilities
• VMI Planning & Operations Management
• Manage MRP planning and reporting for customers under Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) service.
• Coordinate with 3PL providers responsible for stock handling and warehousing within the VMI framework.
• Oversee customer account operations related to VMI, including communication and back-office activities.
• Customer Account & S&OP Management
• Handle customer accounts for top-tier clients in the AG product segment.
• Lead and support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for assigned customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of back-office tasks and customer communications.
• Sales Forecasting & Data Analysis
• Perform interpolative and predictive analysis of customer demand using MRP data.
• Support decision-making through data-driven forecasting insights.
• Reporting Maintenance & Development
• Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of logistics and planning reports.
• Ensure reporting tools and outputs meet operational and strategic needs.
• Inventory Control Support
• Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Job Position Requirements
Professional backgound: 1 to 4 years of experience in the role or new graduate interested in Logistic department
Education: University bachelor degree - Management Engineering
Hard skills
Essential:
• Fluent in English
• Good Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization (Power Query, Power BI is a plus).
Considered as a plus:
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and supply chain planning processes
• Experience with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) operations, including stock monitoring and 3PL coordination
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for planning, inventory, and reporting tasks
• Data analysis and forecasting techniques, including interpolative and predictive modeling
• Understanding of S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and their integration with customer demand
• Inventory control and optimization methodologies, including safety stock, reorder points, and ABC analysis
