Position Summary
The candidate will take care of Gearbox Design and Analysis of complex ePropulsion Systems from concept layout phase to SOP, proactively recognize any possible weakness and develop solutions to meet performance objectives in terms of Reliability and Robust Design, within the timelines of various programs.
Main Opportunities and Challenges: The candidate will acquire technical skills related to Simulations and the fast paced growing world of ePropulsion, growing up in a youthful and highly stimulating environment, and contributing to increase the Design Department Capabilities to meet the latest customers requirements.
Main Responsabilities
From the concept phase to the SoP, the candidate will deal with gearbox design for complex ePropulsion systems in order to meet various customer performance requirements; he/she will gather and manage inputs from different stakeholder, running simulations and providing assessments in accordance with internal design targets. He/She will help to introduce new tools and procedures to determine the reliability of the overall system based on the failure probability of the individual components, to meet both durability and NVH requirements.
He/She will work closely with release groups and other functional teams to proactively identify any possible weakness and improve the design, by defining virtual models, supporting testing activities and monitoring external suppliers, as needed.
Job Requirements
Education: Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, Aerospace
Professional Background:
1+ years of relevant experience in Powertrain Design and/or CAE Analyses is expected or even fresh graduate with passion and curiosity on these themes, especially Reliability and Robust Design. Automotive sector / ePropulsion / eDrives preferred.
Hard Skills
Essential:Machine elements, Probability and Statistics, Failure mode analysis, Knowledge of programming languages like Python or tools like MATLAB-Simulink/Simscape, Fluent English .
