Position Summary

We're looking for a Material Planning & Logistic Manager in Reggio Emilia Location.

This candidate will manage plant logistics and production planning team. She/He will be responsible of all internal logistics processes: from customer order confirmation to material planning, production planning scheduling (assembly lines and machining), inbound materials process, materials storage, shipments.

Main Responsibilities

- Planning and management of inbound and outbound flows throughout the production cycle;

- Overseeing and optimization of production planning process (from demand planning to the shipping)

- Definition of best procurement policy (consignment stock, Kanban, call off) finding right trade off between value of stock (DOH) and customer KPI (OTD and Short Lead time to market)

- Definition of stock reduction policies in order to improve rotation index;

- Lead and monitoring KPI of all logistics processes, in order to reduce costs, increase efficiency according management goals and target;

- Lead and coordination of logistics processes continuous improvement according Dana Operation System;

- Management of yearly inventory count;

- Responsibility of stock accuracy.

- Use reports and metrics which analyze opportunities for savings and improvements, shipment frequencies & issues, claims issues and customer/supplier routing efficiencies

- Resolve any arising problems or customer complaints reated to logist activities

Job Position Requirements

Education: University bachelor degree - Management Engineering

Professional background

The candidate should have an experience in different logistics function of manufacturing companies at least 6-7 years (production planning, material planning, warehouse and logistic management).

SAP MM/WM

Office Application

English Level, B2

Lean manufacturing application to logistics process

Considered as a plus: WCM system knoledge, Logistics Cost Deployment
