HR Generalist

Position Summary
We’re looking for an HR Generalist in Reggio Emilia location.
Reporting to the HR Manager EU Hydraulics Business, the HR generalist ensures that payroll run is processed correctly. The HR generalist ensures the correct execution of the payroll process. They manage reporting to managers and corporate headquarters. The role involves liaising with employees and managers to ensure the correct management of employment relationships.

Main Responsibilities
• Set up and maintain files on all new employees and terminated employees, HC, absenteeism.
• Time and Attendance activities.
• Provide all variables in all Payroll process cycles, included all hiring, merit increase letters.
• Prepare and maintain non-wage compensation entries and files (education assistance, group-term life, sales prizes, employee excellence awards, personal use of company car, moving expenses).
• Maintain relations with the external labour consultant (sending monthly variables, checking payslips, 770 forms, CU forms, drafting the annual calendar, etc.)
• Answer routine inquiries from outside the company on employment verifications.
• Prepare periodic reports of labour costs.
• Management of audits and SOX controls upon corporate request (monthly or annual).
• Monthly cash flow report for Administration (with provisional payroll summaries).
• Track and process taxable fringe benefits and the welfare.
• Assists in the analysis of HR data and implementation of the annual merit program.
• Management of My Dana portal related to all employees (SAP SF).
• Support HR Manager for People Management (disciplinary actions, trade union relations).
Job Position Requirements
Education: University bachelor degree - Political science, law, labour consultant
Professional background
• Master in Human Resources or specific training
Hard skills
Essential:
• Fluent in Italian and English (Written and spoken on a daily base)
• Knowledge of MS Office (especially in Excel)
• Knowledge of Italian Labour Law and Union Trade Relations
• Strong organizational skills
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Should demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities.
Considered as a plus:
• 2+ years of experience as an HR Administration specialist/Payroll Specialist
• SAP ERP (module WM, MM, PP)/Zucchetti
• National Collective labour agreement for metalworkers
