Position Summary

We’re looking for an Advanced Buyer in Reggio Emilia location.

Advanced Buyer is accountable for new Dana Off-Highway projects working in multi-functional teams and managing sourcing activities to ensure the success of the project.

Main Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for successful product launch for new projects granting overall scope, requirements, timing, budget and stakeholders satisfaction.

- Support New projects Bid Phase: time plan definition and cost analysis within purchasing organization

- Collect, consolidate and distribute clear sourcing requirements

- Identify project risks, highlight them and establish suitable contingency plans

- Prepare and present project sourcing plan

- Manage prototypes sourcing

- Secure sourcing process execution involving and coordinating relevant stakeholders

- Challenge Design to Cost and Design for Manufacturing to grant budget respect and stable processes

- Monitor and secure parts procurement on spec, on time and on cost.

- Drive VA/VE events/workshop to generate cost improvements initiatives

Job Position Requirements

 

Education: University master degree - Mechanical/Aerospace/Electronic/Management Engineering

 

Professional background

Previous experience in Automotive, Industrial, Agriculture, Mechanic Companies as Advanced Purchasing, Purchasing Project Manager, Purchasing Development Specialist, Project Buyer, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Lead Engineer.

 

Hard skills
