Job Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of FEA/Durability/Dynamics domain specifically for Drivetrain Products (Transmissions, Axles etc.)

• Experience in FEA modelling and analysis in Abaqus/Hypermesh/Fe-Safe.

• Ability to manage projects, interact with global counterparts, prepare project plans and lead one or two Junior Team members.

• Hands on experience in addressing Structure related field issues using simulation techniques and design improvements.

• Well versed with design principles of drivetrain products and components like gears, shafts, bearings, differentials, housings, Clutches, etc.

• Having strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude. Job Qualifications:

• B.E. Mechanical, ME/MTech. Mechanical Design or any other relevant specialization

• 8-10 years of relevant experience of FEA simulation is expected.

• Experience of Automotive drivetrain or powertrain is required.

• Experience of EVs and Motor Structural analysis is preferred.

Education B.E. Mechanical, ME/MTech. Mechanical Design or any other relevant specialization

Experience • 5-8 years of relevant experience in FEA Simulation of Drivetrain products

• Automobile / Design and Engineering Skills Required:

• Strong fundamentals of Finite Element Methods, System Dynamics, Mechanical Vibrations, System Modelling, etc. • Hands on experience of Abaqus/Hypermesh/Fe-Safe is required.

• Strong interpretation of simulation results and ability to provide design improvements.

• Demonstrated experience in correlation of simulation results and test data.

• Experience of working in cross functional teams of CAE, design, testing etc.

• Thermal & Dynamics analysis experience is preferred.

• Preferred to have exposure of basic knowledge of NVH Domain. Required Soft-Skills:
