EXP- At least 8-10 years experience
Education :- Masters or bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Mechanical / Computer Engineering. 8+ years of relevant professional experience. 12-15 Years of Industry experience.
Domain Solution Architecture
•Understands Engineering’s key product development strategies and business initiatives to make recommendations for PLM and Engineering Application solutions and process improvements that will align with the global strategy
•Guiding internal and external PLM Technical teams
•Working with business leaders and IT directors in understanding the business strategies and key initiatives impacting project needs for PLM work
•PLM Lead/Solution Architect will drive the architecture and contribute with technical and business knowledge expertise to the development of PLM architecture strategies, business process standardization, and IT architecture roadmap with a focus primarily on the Teamcenter/Active Workspace functions.
•Leads PLM Pilots with Customers to ensure solutions address business requirements.
•Responsible for driving the definition and execution of the PLM architecture roadmap.
•Responsible for providing the technical and functional guidance for the planning, architecture, deployment, and integration of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform
•Understanding of Agile software development and size environments (VMs, GPUs, CPUs, RAM) and advising system administrators on infrastructure needs.
•Provide thorough knowledge of understanding and execution of master data processes, which includes Material Master, Engineering Change Management (ECM), Bills of Materials Management, Variant Configuration, Document Management, Partner Collaboration strategies
•Advice on Teamcenter/Active Workspace technical stack. Own & solve performance & availability Issues in different Teamcenter Implementations, and serve as a go-to person for complex issues that may arise in Production / QA / DEV environments.
•Troubleshoot and uncover the root causes of major technical problems encountered by PLM users.
•Build & Test new releases of PLM tools before deployment on active programs.
•Perform system analysis, tuning & optimization on the PLM server.
•Ensure PLM vendor management and maintain PLM Software inventory
•Write PR’s/ER’s for issues/enhancements related to Dana PLM environment using Siemens GTAC site and do subsequent follow-up with Vendor
•Experience designing/architecting Teamcenter/Active Workspace Solutions for client and server
•Programming experience in C, C++, ITK, Java, XML, Python, Angular JavaScript, TCL scripting, developing extensions, workflow handlers, and SOA services
•Support bulk migration of data into Teamcenter.
