Job Duties and Responsibilities

Position: Customer Solution Engineer (OH)
Responsibilities:
• This engineering position will have constant interaction with customers regarding our products to support & satisfy market demands.
• Incumbent will provide technical assistance involving Dana products
• Incumbent will run application approvals on Dana products like axles & Transmission.
• Coordinate current product changes and VA VE related activities with plants and suppliers
• Perform design calculations and stack-ups as required.  Work independently & with the global teams (China and Europe & America) to meet technical and customers’ requirements  Assist customers in selecting suitable products within Pulse range of capabilities  Engineering representative for technical information in efforts to obtain future business closely working with sales & other departments
• Build and maintain relationships with plants, customers, service centre’s, and other functional groups • Collaborate with each segment within the Product Line to bring them the voice of the field, technical needs, and future products • Work across the Product lines to define system solutions and bring them to concrete and workable models • Provide technical assistance to customer and also effectively relay the customer requirements to internal program team • Awareness of APQP process from business sourcing to post launch activities • Effectively communicate Desired Knowledge, experiences & skills for off highway applications engineer • 8-15 yrs. of relevant exps. • Strong technical background in design or development engineering and applications engineering in drivetrain as related to the off-highway Equipment’s/automotive products is preferred • Preferred candidate will have a working knowledge of Drivetrain design & layout • Basic knowledge on quality tools, APQP, Engineering principles, CAD software capabilities
• Basic knowledge on Electrification will be added advantage
• Effective planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities under pressing deadlines and set priorities as an individual contributor
