Job Purpose
The HR Generalist will serve as a hands-on partner to all functions at Pottstown, while also supporting global HR initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering HR services including employee and labor relations, performance management, talent development, and compliance, with a strong focus on supporting a high-performing technical workforce. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide HR support for the Pottstown facility, serving as a HR contact for employees and leaders.
- Timely processing of employee hours and processing payroll requests such as tuition reimbursement, shoe reimbursement, parental leave, etc.
- Support HR with various administrative responsibilities including the areas of on-boarding, orientation, transfer, offboarding, and job changes.
- Partner with leaders to drive employee engagement, retention, and development strategies.
- Proactively manage employee relations, including attendance, leaves, and performance issues.
- Ensure performance concerns are appropriately documented, monitored, and resolved.oolaborate with the Talent Acquisition COE to support recruitment strategies and hiring needs.
- Facilitate and lead HR lifecycle events including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Perform employee and labor relations duties, including grievance procedures, contract interpretation, and local contract negotiations.
- Perform internal investigations, prepare necessary documentation, and testify at hearings, as required. Implement diversity strategy within the facility.
- Support workstreams focused on career development, engagement, retention, and talent analytics for global employees.
- HR data management, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment across the organization.
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly HR analytical reports and KPI’s
- Support performance management, merit planning, goal setting, and talent review processes, ensuring timely and effective execution
- Ensure HRIS data integrity and accurate employee .
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned., including special projects.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and HR Business Partner or Generalist roles.
- Strong communication skills
- Plant or manufacturing experience preferred.

- Build strong working relationships with organizational leaders
- Must be able to partner with leaders on people-related issues, using sound judgment and HR knowledge to support appropriate decision making.
- Ability to collaborate with other functions within Human Resources on the development and implementation of programs and policies such as career ladders, hiring processes, job title harmonization, development planning, and early career programs.
- Knowledgeable in US employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training.
- Strong emphasis on HR systems reporting; emphasis on SAP and myDana (SuccessFactors)Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all functions and levels across the organization
