Job Purpose
The IT Co‑Op will support a variety of enterprise Information Technology initiatives and day‑to‑day operational activities. This role is designed for a motivated student who is eager to broaden their understanding of IT concepts, tools, and business processes while gaining hands‑on experience in a corporate environment.
The co‑op will assist with IT communications, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) support, Microsoft Teams file cleanup and organization, and a defined IT project assignment. This position provides exposure to how IT services support and enable the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IT operational activities, assisting with day‑to‑day tasks across the IT function.
- Assist with IT communications, including preparing documentation, updates, presentations, or internal messaging for IT and business stakeholders.
- Provide support for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities, including coordination, documentation, tracking initiatives, and assisting with reporting efforts.
- Participate in Microsoft Teams file cleanup and organization, helping improve file structure, collaboration efficiency, and information governance.
- Complete a designated IT project, which may include research, documentation, analysis, or process improvement work.
- Collaborate with IT team members to learn how systems, applications, and end‑user services support business operations.
- Assist with documenting processes, procedures, and best practices within IT.
- Perform additional IT‑related tasks as assigned to support team objectives and professional learning.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in:

- Computer Science
- Or a related field

- Interest in learning and growing within the IT discipline.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Coursework related to IT systems, applications, or infrastructure.
- Experience with documentation or process improvement.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Information Technology.
