Job Purpose
Manufacturing Engineer - To Train to be a member of the Dana Mexico Engineering Center Team
Key Qualifications: University degree in Engineering - 5-7 year Engineering Technology diploma.
- Experience with heat exchangers or heat transfer principles, knowledge of fluid mechanics and/or materials are an asset.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support daily production cells by troubleshooting, collecting and monitoring data to ensure equipment uptime and appropriate.
- Be the point of contact in the production cells to resolve equipment issues and install permanent corrective actions.
- Working with a cross functional team in-plant and external Advance Engineering including all deparments & KPi´s
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment and where required coordinate, supervise and liaise with outside contractors
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data to recognize.
- Participate as a key member in implementing the Dana Operating System (DOS)
