Job Purpose
Ensure that the elements and components used in the production lines meet the specifications and requirements given by process engineering (Manufacturing) and product engineering, guaranteeing quality systems that through control and measurement systems are in accordance with the provisions of design and quality as well as customer requirements and specifications
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform dimensional checks on components.
Prepare reports and information on the results obtained.
Manage and safeguard calibrators and special devices for the control of processes and service departments.
Performing the calibrations of the equipment conforms to the schedule determined by the calibration software.
Develop the GR&R "Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies" procedure.
Carry out the necessary maintenance and repairs of the gauges and measuring equipment according to the guidelines established by the manufacturers.
Determine the replacement and/or innovation of calibrators and inspection equipment, based on GR&R Skill results and their operation
