Warehouse Operator Intern

Job Purpose

To strengthen our Logistics organization, we are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in physical warehouse operations and inventory transaction management.
The selected candidate will be responsible for moving materials between warehouse locations, ensuring the accurate recording of inventory transactions, and performing cycle counts in both warehouse and workshop areas.

Key Responsibilities

•    Receive, identify, and store incoming materials, ensuring accurate inventory transaction recording in the company systems.
•    Replenish materials from the warehouse to production supermarket.
•    Perform cycle count activities for materials stored in warehouses and workshop areas.
•    Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
•    Prepare material transfer documentation between DANA warehouses and external logistics service providers.
•    Support warehouse organization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

•    Willingness to learn and operate forklifts for material handling activities.
•    High level of accuracy in inventory transaction recording and warehouse administration.
•    Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with different departments.
•    Attention to cleanliness and handling requirements for specific types of components.
•    Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
