Job Duties and Responsibilities
TASKS:
- Supervise and continuously support production from a process engineering perspective
- Generating and executing continuous improvement projects targeted to reduce waste, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing cycle time
- Troubleshooting to ensure production and measurement processes using problem-solving tools (8D, A3, fishbone diagram) and the lessons learned method
- Creating relevant documentation (WI / flow charts / CP etc.)
- Lead PFMEA and VSM activities to identify manufacturing risks and optimize build processes
- Define and manage layout modification linked to the equipment that is included into his project responsibilities
- Preparation and release of Work Instructions detailing all processes
- Keep relevant routing data up to date in SAP and KPI systems
- Develop and implement training programs for different process steps
- Train and educate production workers and technicians
- Continuous standardization of production processes
- Working closely with other departments
EXPECTATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in related engineering field
- 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar field
- Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and LEAN deployment
- Basic knowledge of quality and measurement processes
- Experience in process documentation handling: Process FMEA, Control Plan, Work instructions, flow charts, etc.
- Superior communication skills, self-starter and results-orientated personality
- Hands-on capability with good knowledge of manufacturing and process
- Ability to use CAD (Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD)
- Experience in project management skills (Advantage)
- Experience in SAP system (Advantage)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and inter-personal skills
- Fluency in English
