Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position will lead the IE activities and be responsible for optimizing processes, eliminating waste, & conducting complex cost analyses to provide data-driven recommendations for CI Saving improvements and most importantly utilizing AVIX industrial software to document and develop actions to meet or exceed plant labor standards

• This position will play a key role in supporting investment integrations and industrializing to maximize production output to meet or exceed capital payback period in specific automation of processes leveraging robots, AMRs, cobots.

• Be responsible and accountable for project executions from inception to completion, including communication of results and verification.

• Facilitate the identification, selection, prioritization and assignment of projects with an emphasis on those that have breakthrough potential.

• Partner with customers in Operations and elsewhere to establish continuous improvement initiatives for implementation.

• Be responsible and accountable for project executions from inception to completion, including communication of results and verification.

• Learn and execute Dana Operating System (DOS) initiatives & tools

• As required, create and edit layouts, and drive the sign off process for upcoming projects

• Oversee and execute as required, new equipment introduction (including safety and environmental checklists), and change management (CSD and ER process)

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Engineering and at least 7 years experience.

• Trained and proficient in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in leading kaizens.

• Excellent interpersonal communications with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

• Must be a team player that solicits diverse ideas and viewpoints and possess strong facilitation, teaching and coaching skills.

• Good computer/database management skills with process mapping and documentation skills.

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
