Job Duties and Responsibilities

Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill Manufacturing Engineering positions for the 2025 Spring, Summer, and Fall at our manufacturing facility in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks, projects, and assignments.

Qualifications
Enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Specific majors: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical, Computer Software, Electrical or Mechatronics, Information Technologies program.

•    Proven work experience, strong analytical ability, & excellent mechanical aptitude.
•    Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills.
•    Willing to do multiple assignments.
•    Good oral & written communication skills.
•    Must be able to interface in a team environment.
•    Troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
•    Assist with manufacturing process improvements.
•    Participate in quality review and corrective action implementation.

IT Duties & Responsibilities
•    Provide support to troubleshoot computer hardware, Windows Operating Systems, hardware malfunctions.
•    Perform onsite trouble shooting, hardware installation and repair/malfunction/configuration damage.
•    Perform installs, moves, adds and changes of computers, peripheral devices, and network components.
•    Regularly conduct preventative maintenance inspections of workstations and network equipment at to proactively maintain efficient system performance and maintain a clean and professional work environment.
•    Setting up or configuring home printers to work with Dana provided laptops.
•    Assist in submission, monitoring (escalation where necessary) and resolution of Service Desk Tickets.
