Job Purpose
Maintain machinery and equipment in optimal operating condition, with 95% of the time required by the plant to achieve compliance with production schedules on all operating lines. In order to ensure that it complies with internal, customer, corporate and IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform the scheduling of planned and unplanned preventive maintenance
Control and follow-up of preventive and corrective work orders
Preparation of statistical analyses of preventive and corrective maintenance
Allocate the necessary manpower resources to perform planned and unplanned preventive maintenance
Supervise the performance of planned and unplanned preventive maintenance
Coordinate the performance of planned corrective maintenance to machinery and equipment in order not to affect production due to failures in these
Coordinate the performance of unplanned corrective maintenance
Manage the maintenance staff in charge efficiently to reduce equipment downtime, thus ensuring the operation of production lines.
Select equipment and spare parts for the machines in order to maintain an adequate stock that allows the continuous operation of these
Detect areas of opportunity in equipment and maintenance personnel and take actions to solve them.
