General Description
• Setup and Maintenance of all part numbers in MRP system including but not limited to BOM’s, Routings, Costs, Standards, Labor and Overhead.
• Responsible for quoting of all new parts and Engineering changes within deadlines.
• Maintenance and updating of all ECN’s/PLM requests.
• Audit for proper cycle times, machine and labor.
• Lead team feasibility studies for new parts/this includes material quotes, working with engineering to get tooling quotes, all while using the current overhead standards in the system.
• Setup for all Sample and PPAP parts in MRP. Entering of Manufacturing build requirements and product process flow functionality of MRP system and interaction of various processes.
• Responsible for the maintenance of customer websites as required.
• Updating annually the plant capacity sheets by work center and / or completing update capacity during the quote phase of new products given various scenarios of volume increase by customer request.
• Analyze and report actual cost versus standard cost.
• Prepare estimates of new or proposed product costs.
• Responsible for annual standard cost roll.
• Month end quoting reports.
• Responsible for overseeing production of process cards for all manufacturing operations.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the manager to support departmental or organizational needs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of Manufacturing/Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to work under and meet deadline constraints
• Ability to work flexible schedule as work load dictates
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Must understand the manufacturing systems and the parameters needed to accurately track and measure performance for a given part
• Good communication skills to communicate with customers, suppliers, and Dana personnel
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer specifications, technical procedures, and regulations
• Familiar with or able to learn PLM
• Ability to learn customer databases
• Ability to do mathematical conversions using multiple units of measure
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/SAP/PLM/Autocad
• Ability to work with little supervision
