Junior IT Developer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead IT Analyst join our Data Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the AFM Distribution Center North American strategy.  This position requires an ability to partner with the plant leaders and central office to build out and support solutions to grow AFM.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving best practices for our solutions and supporting the business needs while providing data-driven recommendations.
•    Support the technologies to the agreed upon SLA and business needs.
•    Create and maintain strategic technology plans to support AFM growth.
•    Collaborate with SAP central team to support technology plans and future rollouts and integrations.
•    Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations.
•    Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and the automotive industry, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the EV division.

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 
•    Proven experience as a IT professional, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
•    Experience in technologies including programming (python), and database, ETL and reporting solutions and SQL.
•    Experience or willingness to learn SAP EWM.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
