Job Purpose
Delivery of high quality general HR services to the internal customers, all by complying with Dana’s Ethical Code of Conduct & Sustainability policy.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- You play a central role in fine-tuning and organizing the HR cycle within engineering and functional domains (inflow - throughput - outflow);
- With regard to talent acquisition, you keep a finger on the pulse so that the best talents can be attracted, while ensuring a pleasant candidate experience;
- You are the first point of contact for managers and employees: you guide, support and direct them on HR-related topics.
- You take the lead or work closely with your colleagues HR Business Partners in various HR projects (Dana engagement survey, job classification, Top Employer) and coordinate these where necessary. This way, you help build a top of the class HR department;
- You establish and implement individual training plans and collective training programs, taking into account the needs of the organization and in close cooperation with management. You enjoy giving new employees a warm welcome and further assisting them in their Dana career;
- You participate in collective social dialogue, contributing to a positive social climate;
- You are responsible for job classification and keep job descriptions up to date;
- You are an expert in making reports (absenteeism, retention, training) and analyze them in depth. You get the chance to optimize matters in order to achieve the best HR KPIs;
- You participate actively in the follow-up of the Performance Management processes in SuccessFactors
- You pro-actively manage efficiently new HR related topics
Education and qualifications
The successful candidate typically has the following qualifications and experience:
- You have at least a Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master’s degree in psychology, law or comparable and a good knowledge of social legislation;
- HR holds few secrets for you; as a generalist, thanks to your experience, you are familiar with all HR domains (recruitment & selection, social consultation, education and training) and work closely with experts where necessary;
- Working in an industrial environment gives you energy;
- You are great at setting priorities and are open-minded towards new challenges. You like to think out-of-the box and in solutions;
- You are results-oriented and possess a healthy assertiveness;
- Others describe you as an empathetic and positive team player for whom no question is too much. You highly value cooperation and discretion;
- You like working in an environment where you can take the initiative and where you can make a difference based on your expertise in order to provide maximum support to the business;
- You can conduct conversations in Dutch and English in a professional manner.
