Logistics Manager

Job Purpose
Provide and send the production departments and subcontractors their parts and spare parts on time, by efficiently, properly and safely handling the order lines, give feedback on errors and by monitoring the stock accuracy in order to contribute to customer satisfaction through delivering the correct finished units.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Operational:
- Oversee logistics activities including goods receipt, intermediate storage, stock management, picking and supply of parts, disposal and shipping of finished products, and management of shuttle transports.
- Ensure operational KPIs such as safety, quality, productivity, and delivery reliability are met through tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Manage a team (indirect + 50 employees, direct 2 employees) with a focus on performance management and talent development, including group leaders, team leaders, and logistics operators.
- Conduct periodic consultations with trade unions and participate in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work.
Strategic:
- Optimize logistics processes and develop forward-looking logistics strategies, including innovative methods and means.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, quality, operations, and manufacturing engineering teams.
Cooperation:
- Work closely with supply chain (purchasing & expediting), quality (receiving inspection), operations (assembly, machining, maintenance), and manufacturing engineering departments.
Your profile
Requirements:
- Experience with logistics processes and principles.
- Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong people management skills.
- Data-driven with strong analytical abilities.
- Skilled in change management.
- Experience with logistics software and ERP systems.

Qualifications:
