Job Purpose

After an intensive training period, you will become responsible within Manufacturing Engineering for the design and optimization of internal and external (3PL) logistics processes. Your position includes several important aspects that you will tackle project by project with the common thread: working out the future vision of our supply chain process and putting it into practice step by step.

Matters that will certainly be included are the optimization of warehouse management, ex- and internal goods flows, parts packaging, kitting of parts to deliver them in optimal conditions to the assembly lines, ...

After the optimization of the flows and working methods, the intention is to fully engage in further automation and digitization of the logistics process.

Together with your operational colleagues, you will ensure a state-of-the-art supply chain. So proactively thinking about innovations and constantly proposing improvements in terms of safety, quality, lead time, cost, environment/energy, etc. is crucial.

You use the already available IT functionalities (ERP, WMS, MES, ...) but you also take the lead in the further development of these digitalization projects in the logistics environment.

Working together with the operational production departments and consulting with our external suppliers (oa 3PL), the IT, design, quality and purchasing department is daily business.
