Job Purpose

Dana Brugge's Manufacturing Engineering Department is seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Logistics Project Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing and optimizing both internal and external logistics processes, ensuring a state-of-the-art supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead logistics projects from concept to implementation, focusing on warehouse management, goods flows, parts packaging, and kitting.
  • Optimization: Enhance logistics processes to improve safety, quality, lead time, cost, and environmental impact.
  • Automation & Digitalization: Drive automation and digitalization initiatives within logistics, utilizing ERP, WMS, MES systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operational production departments, external suppliers (including 3PL), IT, design, quality, and purchasing teams.
  • Innovation: Proactively propose improvements and innovations in logistics processes.

Your profile

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in engineering (business, logistics, electromechanical, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven project management skills in logistics within a manufacturing environment. Experience with Lean and/or QRM principles is a plus.
  • Skills: Analytical, accurate, and qualitative approach to work. Strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude. Ability to see the links between different parts of the process and act in a problem-solving and persistent manner.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally for short periods.

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and share knowledge.
  • Several years of experience in a similar technical environment is a plus.
