Job Purpose
GOAL:
Twofold:
- BOM project engineer: you are the link and spoc between engineering and production planning. You take the lead in translating the “bill of material” that was prepared by engineering into the production bill of material that offers a construction process to our assemblers. You are responsible to implement and coordinate engineering changes in production
- MTC coordinator:
- Coordinate engineering changes: implement BOM changes according to agreed timing (internal or external) and follow-up with different departments , follow-up on financial impact as result of the change if applicable
Key account customer contacts for customer notifications and customer approval request

- Processing input engineering to create new BOM, new parts and notify involved stakeholders (e.g. purchasing; manufacturing engineering)
- Consultation of the sales- and/or production planning
- Follow-up in- outsourcing parts (Follow-up on make / buy decision, change origin)
- Daily coordination of distribution list engineering changes
- Team center:
- Create parts
- Change parts
- Change stock-scrap-rework parts
- Obsolete notice
- Coordinate stock changes due to drawing adjustments
- Bill of Material AS400
- Create parts / BOM
- Change parts (follow-up on phase in / out)
- Obsolete notice
- Coordinate stock changes due to drawing adjustments
- Assign responsible follow-up person for new parts (purchasing, manufacturing)
- Coordination meetings with engineering about all changes
- Align with program management concerning changes, stock
- Phase in phase out: change Planning BOM schedule break in order to avoid obsolete material
- Follow-up parts non-stock
- Aftermarket responsibilities:
- Align with Aftermarket and engineering concerning production changes/aftermarket demand in view of active BOM / replacement BOM
- Process Owner: Manage the change
Takes full ownership over the overall procedure MTC
- Create procedure MTC

- Laying the foundation for MTC processes
- Launch new procedure and launch database customers
- Maintain the structure and takes ownership in influencing other stakeholders to contribute according to the imposed procedure
- Ensuring that all information is accurate
- Matrix pre-approval
- Leading cross-functional team weekly meetings

- Coordinate overall engineering changes (see BOM)
- MTC power app
- Owner of the MTC file and ensuring accurate adjustments
- Covers all topics and is responsible for follow-up (with stakeholders and responsible departments)
- Launch the pre-approval flow for new MTC
- Overall responsibility different departments related MTC, securing all information
- Obsolete parts
- Check stock
- Value of stock
- Link with logistics, expediting, finance (f.e. cost controlling)
- Coordinate and be back-up for customer notifications (initiator are the sales liaisons)
Education and Qualifications
- Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of diversified experience in a generalist position and has good project management skills.
- Minimum Bachelor degree with technical affinity, or logistics background and project management skills
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, strong influencing skills
- Able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, having excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, team building, problem solving, planning, decision-making & interpersonal skills.
- Being customer focused
- Fluent in Dutch ( writing & speaking)
- Fluent in English (writing & speaking)
- Strong communication skills
- Nice to have:

- Knowledge of Off-Highway market & the related applications, standards & regulations
- Thorough understanding of Dana Product portfolio and Technical Specifications
