Architect and design AUTOSAR software solutions for automotive applications, including BSW and MATLAB based application software components.
Maintain consistency and compliance with AUTOSAR standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Decompose system-level requirements into software requirements.
Define and maintain the Software Architecture Document (SAD).
Conduct code reviews, design evaluations, and test case analysis.
Collaborate with system architects, engineering managers, and product owners to define platform SW architecture and define the roadmap for platform evolution
Provide technical leadership to establish and drive best SW development practices
Debug complex embedded control issues in multi core architecture
Define platform SW architecture to be reused across multiple product lines
Lead Architecture review boards to control incoming changes, lead architecture design and decomposition of features
Drive process compliance and participate in ASPICE and functional safety audits to achieve desired level of compliance
Lead issue, change and configuration management on projects as required.
Mentor, coach, and train team members as required.
Required Working Experience
5+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in automotive.
Strong expertise in AUTOSAR Platform and related tools.
Proficiency in C programming and embedded systems.
Experience with Model based development ecosystem.
Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
Experience with safety standards (ISO 26262), diagnostic strategies, and real time systems.
Experience with powertrain domain, motor controls is preferred
Knowledge of cybersecurity is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Strong experience with using tools involved in Embedded SW development, like Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, HIL systems.
