Job Purpose
**Job Title:** Finance Intern (FP&A, Budget, Month End, and Audit Support)
We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various finance functions, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, month-end processes, and audit support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in financial planning and analysis activities, including data gathering, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support the budget preparation process, including data collection, budget modeling, and report generation.
- Participate in month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide assistance in audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and supporting internal and external audit inquiries.
- Collaborate with different departments to gather financial information and insights.
- Assist in developing financial models and tools to improve financial processes.
- Help in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s in accounting / finance ongoing or completed. CPA title in progress or interest to pursue CPA title. CPA mentor in place to obtain recognized competencies with the CPA Order.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
