Job Duties and Responsibilities
Internship Mandate:
As a Process Design and Industrial Engineering Intern, you will be an active member of the Operations and Maintenance team. Your main role will be to contribute to the implementation and improvement of asset and maintenance management processes using the Emaint software, as well as to create documentation and tools to optimize equipment performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create performance indicators (KPIs) in the Emaint software.
Develop tutorials for:
Creating asset records.
Building task libraries.
Setting up preventive maintenance.
Generating work orders.
Creating requestor accounts for work orders (free license for requests only).
Review and implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures in Emaint.
Create asset records for test benches and integrate the above elements.
Secondary Objectives:
Develop a tutorial to track contractor work orders on assets.
Create an annual maintenance calendar (if time permits).
Draft a complete process guide based on new instructions (if time permits).
Participation in Special Projects
Contribute to the upgrade of a prototyping equipment (e.g., laser welder).
Access to 3D printing to support certain projects.
Desired Profile:
Student in Industrial Engineering, Operations and Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong proficiency in computer tools (Office Suite, SharePoint is a plus).
Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) – Emaint is a plus.
Autonomous, detail-oriented, and team player.
Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).
Work Environment
Office-based position.
Very clean production/prototyping floor.
