Job Purpose

Within the Operations/Industrialization department, the Electronics Assembly Technician is responsible for the Electronics Laboratory.  This department provides support to the entire company in the development of new electronic products and the production of prototypes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Mandate : 

 

  • Assemble electronic boards; 
  • Soldering of electronic components;
  • Modification of electronic boards;
  • Preparation of wiring harnesses;
  • Engineering support for new product development;
  • Operational support for prototype manufacturing;
  • PCB inspection to IPC-610 standard;
  • Maintain orderly electronics lab;
  • Maintain inventory of electronic lab components;
  • Order laboratory materials;
  • Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the quality system (ISO, IATF);
  • All other related duties. 

 
Minimum requirements : 

 

  • High school diploma
  • 0 to 5 years relevant experience 
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written)
