Senior Tooling Engineer

Job Purpose

• Leader cost saving project include improve cutting tools jig fixture production support.
• Tooling and cutting tool management (Inventory system)
• Resolved day to day technical problems on the production line include take action for unplan downtime.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of tooling for new and existing products, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, planning, quality and production teams to define tooling requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Utilize advanced CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of tooling components.
• Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the tooling fabrication process, working closely with vendors and internal manufacturing teams.
• Conduct inspections and testing of tooling to ensure it meets all functional and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot tooling problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and update tooling documentation, including drawings, specifications, and tooling jig fixture. 
• Stay current with new tooling technologies and manufacturing trends.
