Job Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

      Plan timely purchases of raw materials and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the availability of materials for daily production.

1. MATERIAL PLANNING.

• Plan and track material requirements for both local and overseas raw materials, covering current and new projects under the CV and LVD programs.

• Control and monitor inventory levels for raw materials in both CV and LVD programs.

• Control and monitor premium freight charges for raw materials in both CV and LVD programs.

• Prepare monthly material reports as required for internal and external stakeholders.

• Review supplier delivery terms on purchase orders and ensure actual shipments are aligned and well-coordinated among suppliers, freight forwarders, and Dana.

• Provide corrective actions and problem-solving when actual material receipts are less than planned, significantly higher than expected, or delayed.

• Evaluate supplier delivery performance (%) and implement countermeasures to resolve issues under the CV and LVD programs.

• Develop and maintain MRP data in the SAP system, releasing accurate information to support material planning activities.

• Communicate and update import orders with export customers to ensure alignment and timely delivery

2.  INVENTORY CONTROL

• Monitor material planning, scheduling, and supplier shipment releases for each supplier, based on safety stock calculations, lead time, and supplier capacity.

• Continuously improve material planning and inventory management processes to achieve company targets.

3.GENERAL MANAGEMENT.

• Develop, support, and maintain DST’s Quality System in accordance with IATF standards.

• Support the Annual Inventory Count activity to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Participate in company initiatives such as Kaizen, PIT, and other continuous improvement activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Control Manager.
