Job Purpose

Job Duties and Responsibilities

•    Accurately complete paperwork and labels associated with outbound shipments: packing lists and bill of ladings generated from the shipping system in MRP/ERP database
•    Completing customer specific requirements related to outbound shipments, IE: emailing packing lists and commercial invoices, labeling both sides of package, label inside package, etc.
•    Accurate completion of commercial invoices (customs documents) per customer/country requirements
•    Correct transmission and verification of Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) to all customers
•    Advanced confirmation and setup of shipments as directed by customer carriers: Websites, web portals, PDF’s, etc.
•    Preparing and executing expedited or unusual freight requests per customer service or shipping supervisor
•    Completion of daily assigned schedule to ensure all available parts are shipped accurately, on time and within window times of carriers while working under high pressure situations
•    Daily communication with Customer Service and plant operations to advise of discrepancies and acquire correction plans
•    Ability to work with computers and multiple programs. Will be expected to learn and understand MRP/ERP systems and be able to use all associated devices such as handheld scanners, printers, etc.
•    Responsible for all aspects of the system process to accurately receive product into the MRP/ERP system, IE: Matching PO’s, quantities, part numbers etc. before printing and applying labels
•    Communication of damaged freight to appropriate personnel and/or carrier
•    5S, organization, cleanliness of the warehouse area and all equipment utilized for the job
•    Responsible for cycle counts/consolidating FG parts in Shipping area
•    Must be flexible to work in all functions of the warehouse including shipping, receiving, and cycle counting
•    Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing personnel including the analysis of various reports, physical inventory, and system entries.
•    Participate in continuous improvement, safety, quality, and housekeeping
•    Preparations for yearly physical inventory as directed by the supervisor
•    Responsible for checking in, separating, labeling and putting away product.
•    Work required overtime as directed by supervisor to meet customer demands
•    Additional responsibilities as determined by the shift supervisor(s)
