Job Purpose
Responsible for managing material flow and inventory accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced, three-shift manufacturing environment. Aligns long-range planning activities with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Coordinates daily execution with suppliers, production, warehousing, customer service, and inventory control
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage internal material movement across shipping, receiving, warehousing, and manufacturing operations
- Develop and maintain production and material flow schedules based on S&OP, customer demand, capacity, and supplier capability
- Operate the plant cycle count program; investigate variances and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate inbound materials, logistics, and purchase orders with outside warehousing providers
- Optimize inbound material flow to support customer service, inventory, and logistics cost targets
- Work directly with suppliers on daily requirements and delivery performance
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison for product launches and obsolescence reduction initiatives
- Maintain planning parameters and master data to ensure ERP accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within materials planning processes
- Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities during peak periods or constraints
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field with 2+ years of experience
- OR Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Manufacturing experience using an integrated ERP system required (SAP preferred)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to learn complex processes and understand material flows across operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Light travel to local customers, suppliers, and company facilities
- Extended work hours may be required during peak production periods, launches, or inventory events
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform repetitive motion tasks
- Occasional light physical activity including packaging and shipping sample products
