Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Aftermarket Area Sales Manager to drive our Aftermarket Dana products through various distribution channels in the Off-Highway (OH) market.

Reporting to the Off-Highway Aftermarket Sr. Sales Manager EMEA, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing market opportunities, and enhancing our market position and company image.

Main responsibilities

Business Development:

- Execute business and customer development strategies.

- Manage and develop distribution channels (OES, Service Centers, IAM), set targets, track results, and ensure targets are met.

- Expand business geographically by acquiring new customers.

Account Management:

- Oversee day-to-day account operations, including A/R and parts availability.

- Represent the voice of the customer within Dana and manage customer metrics.

- Maintain accurate regional revenue forecasts and provide data-driven insights.

- Review and monitor customer activities and performance metrics, preparing reports for upper management.

- Establish strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability.

- Ensure execution aligns with Dana and customer expectations.

Market Exploration and Analysis:

- Collect and analyze market data to define short-term actions and strategic plans.

- Track market conditions and adjust company strategy accordingly.

- Analyze competition and define counteractions.

- Support product planning to optimize the product portfolio and drive business growth.

- Define and track budget performance and profitability.

- Oversee Accounts Receivable activities to ensure fund recovery.

- Negotiate with customers on pricing and other key matters.

- Build and maintain relationships with customers at various levels.

Reporting:

-Provide forecasts, new business pipeline updates, customer visit reports, and monthly sales reports.

-Support the implementation of Dana AFM best practices and processes

Job Position Requirements

Education: University bachelor degree

Professional background

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales with knowledge of the Aftermarket business.

Hard skills

Essential:          

• Fluent in business and technical English, plus one or two other European languages.

• Proficient in CRM software with an analytical mindset

• Willingness to travel frequently, mainly within Europe

• Proficiency in MS-Office, SAP, and Salesforce.

Soft skills

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Dedication, engagement, and motivation for the role

• Strong business acumen, including knowledge of manufacturing, finance, and marketing.

• In-depth knowledge of company organization, products, and services.
